PICK AND PLANT PRODUCE
In Habilin Farms, you can pick and forage for vegetables and fruits, both wild and cultivated. Since most of the produce is organic, you don’t have to don gloves in order to pick them (unless they have thorns or brambles).
Following permaculture ethics, when you take from nature, you have to give back. In line with picking vegetables, you can also learn how to plant their seeds. You can also plant native trees in certain areas of the farm.
FARM-TO-TABLE DINING
While you may order food, the only dishes available to you will be whatever dish is prepared for the day. Habilin Farms does not have a menu waiting for you either, but it does have an entire farm’s worth of produce that you can forage and prepare for an authentic farm-to-table experience.
Apart from the organic fruits and vegetables cultivated in the farm, there are also indigenous edibles that grow wildly in the farm that you can enjoy.
EXPERIENCE LIVESTOCK
Habilin Farms has an abundance of produce and livestock in its premises. Currently, the farm takes care of chickens, ducks, pigs, carabaos, and dogs. Given that it is a permaculture farm, most of these livestock feed on the same crops that the farm produces.
Some of these animals are free-ranged, enabling them to roam and forage for food unbound by wooden or concrete walls. You’re free to feed and pet some of them whenever they’re around.
EARTHING AND NATURE WALK
When you’re in the farm, take time to walk around and absorb the scenery. Studies have shown that walking amidst nature helps relieve stress and improves mood, apart of course from the physical benefits of improved cardio.

Compared to the skies of the Metro whose artificial lights drown out the natural night sky, the skies of the provinces tend to be much brighter, with the moon and stars more prominent.
Habilin Farms’ has designated areas that allow you to gaze upon the unsullied blanket of stars that we see but rarely appreciate either because of how busy we are with work and life or because of how much we tend to miss those subtle beautiful details.
BATHE IN MOUNTAIN STREAM
Habilin Farms is located at Ilayang Bukal. This literally translates to “Northern Spring” and it’s no coincidence that the area is rich with pristine mountain spring water.
