Our one-day Permaculture tour package is designed to not only educate you on how a permaculture farm operates, it’s also going to give you firsthand experience on what it’s like living in one for a day.

EXPERIENCE AUTHENTIC PERMACULTURE LIVING

During your visit, you’ll learn about our holistic approach to farming that emphasizes sustainability, self-sufficiency, and harmony with nature: permaculture. Being a recognized permaculture site by the Philippine Permaculture Association, our farm gives you insights on permaculture by showing you practical applications of the principles.

Included in the package are the following:

  • 15-Minute Trek to the Entrance. From the road, you’re treated to an authentic farm trek where you have to walk towards the farm proper’s entrance for 10 or so minutes.
  • Welcome Drink. After a 10-minute trek from the road to the farm itself, we welcome you with open arms and refreshing drinks.
  • Farm Sheds And Hammocks. Take a quick break and breathe in the fresh air! We have multiple sheds and hammocks you can take advantage of while you’re on the farm.
  • Unlimited Coffee and Herbal Tea. Enjoy unlimited servings of freshly brewed Southern Tagalog coffee and freshly plucked herbal tea throughout your stay.
  • Farm-to-Table Lunch. Savor local recipes and native delicacies whose ingredients are gathered straight from our farm.
  • Guided Farm Tour. You’ll learn the principles of permaculture by being toured around the farm by the permaculturist farmer himself, Ben Francia. (minimum of 5 people)
  • Access to Amenities. From the lush gardens down to the scenic views you can get from our watch tower, you can explore and enjoy the various features and amenities our farm has to offer.

Organic Agriculture Production

Learn about sustainable farming practices, soil health, crop management, and organic certification processes.

Agri-Entrepreneurship

Develop essential entrepreneurial skills such as business planning, marketing strategies, financial management, and market analysis tailored to the agricultural sector.

Permaculture

Explore the ethics, principles and applications of permaculture, focusing on designing regenerative systems that mimic natural, thriving ecosystems to create resilient and productive farms and landscapes.

Other Activities Upon Special Request

In case you’re still interested in pursuing other activities apart from a permaculture tour, you may also engage in these activities:

Tree Parenting. Contribute to long-term reforestation efforts and take part in nurturing and caring for a tree.

Forest Hike. You can also take a hike in the lush forests near Mount Banahaw.
Mountain Spring Bathing. Take a nice, cooling dip at the pristine waters of the natural spring fed directly by Mount Banahaw.

Foraging and Community Cooking. You may also play an active role in preparing your farm-to-table lunch by gathering wild edibles and learning how to cook them in a communal setting.

Requirements For Eligibility:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and above
  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO)
  • Photocopy of Transcript of Records/Form 137 (if available)
  • Photocopy of any government-issued ID / school ID
  • 5 pcs Passport size pictures (formal clothing) on white background, chemical printed and with a name tag
  • 5 pcs 1×1 pictures (formal clothing) on white background, chemical printed

ABOUT HABILIN FARMS

Built in 2020, Habilin Farms is a Permaculture Farm focused on sustainable farming and eco-agi entrepreneurship. It is also a Learning Site for Agriculture, which makes it an extension partner of the Agricultural Training Institute of the Department of Agriculture. Additionally, it is an Accredited farm school by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), offering globally recognized National Certificate in Organic Agriculture Production and Agro-Entrepreneurship.

Founder and owner, Ben Francia, is a professional permaculture designer certified by the Permaculture Association of North America and the Philippine Permaculture Association.
